SMS Opt-In

How Stampire users consent to receive SMS messages.

Stampire collects SMS consent directly within the Stampire mobile app during account registration. The screenshot below shows the actual sign-up screen presented to every new user.

1Account Registration Screen

To create an account, users enter their phone number and must actively check the consent box below (unchecked by default) before the Sign Up button can be used. This checkbox links directly to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, both of which include the full SMS Program Terms — covering message types, frequency, cost, and how to opt out (see Sections 3 and 4 of the Privacy Policy, and Section 3 of the Terms of Service).

“By clicking Sign Up, you agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.”

2What Users Are Agreeing To

By checking this box and submitting their phone number, users explicitly consent to:

  • Receiving a one-time passcode (OTP) via SMS to verify their phone number
  • Receiving future SMS notifications about stamp collection activity, landmark check-ins, and account updates
  • The full SMS Program Terms outlined in our Terms of Service, including message frequency, cost disclosures, and opt-out instructions

Users may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message they receive.

3Message Types

  • One-time passcodes (OTP) for account verification and login
  • Stamp collection confirmations
  • Landmark check-in confirmations
  • Periodic activity summaries

Message frequency varies based on user activity. Message and data rates may apply.
